［東京 １１日 ロイター］ - 富士フイルムホールディングス(4901.T: 株価, ニュース, レポート)は１１日、子会社の富山化学工業が開発した「アビガン錠」について、年末から年明けにもエボラ出血熱の治療薬として国際的に承認される可能性があるとの見通しを示した。
アビガン錠は、エボラ熱の治療薬として承認を受けるため、フランスとギニアの両政府が共同で、１１月中旬から、ギニアの患者６０人による臨床試験（治験）に入る。治験の結果は１２月末にも出て、その後１カ月程度で医薬品の承認を受ける見通し。
同社の石川隆利取締役（医薬品事業部長）によると、両政府の治験のため、すでに３００人分のアビガン錠を日本政府から現地のギニアに送った。この治験は世界保健機関（ＷＨＯ）も関知しているため、国際的な承認薬として世界に出荷する方向で調整しているという。
これまでにアビガン錠は、エボラ熱には未承認薬だが、フランス、スペイン、ノルウェー、ドイツの４カ国で４人の患者に投与され、全員の症状の回復が報告された。富士フイルムによると、同社にアビガン錠は２万人分の在庫があり、３０万人分の原料を確保している。
